Description

When a light spot falls on the PSD, an electric charge proportional to the light energy is generated at the incident position. This electric charge is driven and collected by electrodes. The Photo-Currents collected by the electrodes are inversely proportional to the distance between the incident position and electrodes. The photo-currents are processed to give that is proportional to the position where a light beam is projected using the processing board.
